Many Hands Make Light Work
Grove could not thrive without the hard work and dedication of its staff, volunteers and congregation. As 1 Corinthians 12:6 tells us, “There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.”
In addition to coming together to worship and serve our Lord Jesus Christ, we work together for practical reasons. As a church we work to ensure that the electric bills are paid, that the doors are unlocked and that snow doesn’t block our path to the sanctuary. These efforts enable us to worship, join in fellowship and continue our spiritual growth in a shared space, just as many here have done for 240 years.
As part of the body of Christ, together we must each in our own way reflect the grace of God and the Holy Spirit. It takes many faithful people working together to accomplish both the practical and the spiritual necessities of Grove Church.
Our faithful teams, led by staff and volunteers, include:
