Fundraising Board

The Fundraising Board is represented on the Program Team and reports to the Steering Team.  This Board has responsibility for revising and updating the Fundraising Policy as needed.   The Board is responsible for approving fundraising activities for the purpose of ensuring compliance with this policy.  The Board maintains a calendar to manage the quantity of fundraising activities at any given time.  The Board is not charged with raising funds or funding ministries.

As fundraising opportunities are identified, the team leader should review the Fundraising Policy and prepare the Fundraising Form well in advance of the actual fundraising event.   The form needs to have the support of one of the groups within Grove, such as Missions, United Methodist Women, etc.
