Grove Safe Sanctuary
At Grove, we believe and proclaim that all persons are created by God. God values human life, including all men, women and children. We believe God created all people with worth and dignity and expects us to treat each other accordingly. We believe that sexual misconduct, harassment or abuse are violations of the integrity of the body of Christ, and are sinful behaviors which violate the teachings of Christ. For these reasons a safe sanctuary policy is very important to us.
Therefore, Grove is committed to creating, implementing, and evaluating on an on-going basis, Grove’s Safe Sanctuary Policy. This policy was adopted October 6, 2015 for the safety of all of God’s children.
Any new volunteers working with children, youth or vulnerable populations are required to complete Safe Sanctuaries training, and to supply a completed Criminal Background Check and Child Abuse History clearance.
