"That which is, is far off, and deep,
very deep; who can find it out?
I turned my mind to know and to
search out and to seek wisdom and
the sum of things."
Ecclesiastes 7:24-25a
The Christian Perspectives on Contemporary Issues adult class studies complex current issues and seeks ways to respond and act on newly informed understanding. Multi-month series have included:
Water resources
Middle Eastern perspectives
Pharmaceuticals, broadly defined
Communication in the modern age
God`s children at war
Education's complex issues
Political candidates for local and
state office
Chester County's changing demographics
Our practice is to invite someone with expertise or experience in our area of interest to come share a brief
presentation, followed by discussion driven by our questions. We encourage interested people to drop in for a single topic or for a series.
Our participants vary in age, occupation/education, school district residence, party affiliation, and interests.
We have in common our desire to learn and either to discuss or to listen to the discussion of others.
"The mind of the prudent
acquires knowledge,
And the ear of the wise seeks
knowledge."
Proverbs 18:15
